I’m a New York City-based business journalist and writer with experience in print, digital and a variety of topics. Currently, I’m a shooting and editing fellow working on explainers for Business Insider and a senior studying broadcast journalism and history at NYU.
In the past, my written work has appeared in the Washington Square News, San Jose Mercury News, Inc. Magazine, and GeekWire. I’ve also worked on video at CNN Business.
My interests include using multimedia for dynamic storytelling, a good kicker, and the Oxford comma, no matter what AP style says. (Though I’m also generally pretty interested in following style guides, too.)
In my not-so-free time, find me cooking, baking, and looking up recipes I’ll never cook or bake.
Connect with me on Twitter, where I talk about my dog and the San Jose Sharks, among other things. Or you can email me with tips at kwang [at] businessinsider.com, where there are decidedly less dogs.
